Appointment Setting / Lead Generation

This involves our specialist telemarketing account managers calling prospect companies on your company's behalf:

  • Identifying and/or confirming the decision-makers contact details.

  • Introduction of your company, products / services to the decision-maker with the objective of making confirmed appointments / sales leads for your sales team.

  • Prospects frequently ask to be sent company / product literature before they will consider setting up a meeting. If this is the case and only if they are seriously interested, we will send out the information together with a personalised 'mail-merged' letter.

  • This mailing will be followed up 2-3 days later with the intention of making confirmed appointments / sales leads for your sales team.

  • Notes from the telephone calls and other market intelligence that you have asked us to collect will be sent to you at the end of each period. This will become a valuable register of prospects to which we can return with new information or proposals in order to secure a meeting. The register, which is updated daily, will become your property at the end of the campaign.


Lapsed Customer Rejuvenation - Lead Generation

One of the most effective telemarketing strategies is 'Lapsed Customer Rejuvenation'. This is the process of re-contacting 'former' customers and following up on 'lost orders/old quotations' with the objective of generating new leads.

The advantage with this strategy is that it is known the prospect company has used the client's type of services/product in the past or at the very least had a qualified interest in doing so. Lapsed Customer Rejuvenation campaigns can also be used effectively as a method of cross-selling/up-selling new products and services.

The process for Lapsed Customer Rejuvenation campaigns is similar to that of standard appointment setting or lead generation campaigns. However, Lapsed Customer Rejuvenation campaigns differ because the client will supply the database (list of companies to be contacted) often with notes relating to the history of the relationship, e.g. details of previous quotes or work conducted. This provides a focus to the call enabling the telemarketer to tailor the conversation accordingly.

Exhibition and Seminar Promotion

In order to achieve high levels of attendances at our client's seminars and exhibitions, we use a combination of telemarketing, email marketing, direct mail and text marketing. The following is a summary of the 'standard' process.

Following a full briefing with the client, we will:

  • Import data and set up contact management software.

  • Telephone cleanse and enhance data with additional contacts.

  • Send conference invitations by post or email.

  • Handle inbound responses by post, fax, email and telephone.

  • Conduct an outbound telephone follow up to encourage conference attendance.

  • Send confirmation of reservation letter and map.

  • Maintain a register of attendees (and provide you will regular updates).

  • Undertake a telephone reminder to all attendees three days prior to conference.

  • Send reminder email day before conference including a map.

  • Send reminder text on morning of conference.

Inbound Telemarketing

As with outbound telemarketing, inbound telemarketing also involves detailed preparation. Our team will have an in-depth meeting with the client with the aim of calculating the expected inbound response rates. Once we have ascertained how many inbound telemarketing stations will be required for the campaign we will then prepare a script in partnership. This script will enable all respondents to be greeted in the same manner, their requests to be processed in the same order and with the same details recorded (as specified by the client). This scripted response will minimise call times and therefore increases the amount of calls that can be handled per day by each operator. For this type of call handling we usually set up a dedicated telephone line, usually a Freephone number. As part of our fulfilment services we can send the literature out to respondents on request. Of course, if you prefer, details of all requests can be forwarded via email as often as required.

List Cleaning 

List cleaning is the process of confirming contact details and enhancing the contact record with additional information, such as email & website addresses. The cleaning process involves our telemarketers calling the prospect company (from either your own list or a list that we can source on your behalf), confirming the contact details and updating your database accordingly.
