Sector: Mobile Telephone Distribution Company
The Brief was to implement their annual customer satisfaction survey in the retail sector.
Our response,following the initial scoping meeting and pre-survey set up, was to email the approved questionnaire to the client’s customer base with an ’early bird’ incentive offer for those that completed and returned the survey within 5 days. Those contacts that hadn’t responded by the deadline were followed up by telephone and further surveys were completed.
Using this simple, but effective, tiered approach an exceptionally high level of response was achieved, which provided robust data of customers’ true perceptions. Once we fully analysed the raw data, a comprehensive report was delivered highlighting areas where service excelled and prioritising areas where improvement was needed.

The Brief was to obtain an accurate understanding of the vended/unvended landscape of the records management industry.
Our response was to provide initial consultancy to the client regarding how best to word and format their questionnaire to illicit the best response. The raw data from the survey was provided to the client at the end of the project in Excel format as they’d requested. DMC Associates & JEM Sales and Marketing were not required to conduct any analysis or to interpret the results, it was simply to collect accurate Market research data. Following the success of the initial project, a subsequent study was commissioned that embraced the full scope of DMC Associates & JEM Sales and Marketing capabilities from study conception to completion.
Sector: Medical Equipment
The Brief was to survey the client’s end-user customer base within the NHS hospital and primary care sectors.
Our response followed on the fact that our global client had already implemented a combined awareness, satisfaction and competitor evaluation survey in the USA and Europe using their in-house resource. Given the complexity of the health service in the UK, our client made the wise decision to outsource. As the project was commissioned at very short notice and within a tight time scale we were able to dip into our resource bank of successful templates, ‘localise’ an existing questionnaire and implement it using a dedicated telemarketing research team. Delivering the client their results on time, on budget and in an easy to use format.
